Dr. Stella Immanuel aka Stella Gwandiku-Ambe Immanuel is Cameroonian physician, author, and pastor, Stella Immanuel who is 55 years old went viral after advocating the use of hydroxychloroquine as a cure for coronavirus.
However, Stella has been accused of spreading false and dangerous medical advice and cures, On July 27th she along with a few other Doctors appeared in front of the U.S. Supreme Court as part of America’s Frontline Doctors Summit.
This event was backed by the Tea Party Patriots-backed press and in the speech, she introduced herself as “I’m Dr. Stella Immanuel. I’m a primary care physician in Houston, Texas. I went to medical school in West Africa, Nigeria, where I took care of malaria patients, treated them with hydroxychloroquine and stuff like that. So I’m used to these medications.”
Furthermore, she claimed that had effectively “cured” COVID-19 in 350 patients at her clinic using a combination of Hydroxychloroquine, Zithromax, and zinc (a claim not supported by any strong scientific research; there is currently no drug approved as a specific cure for COVID-19).
In support of this, President Donald Trump shared and retweeted the viral clip to 28 million users who have “liked” his page on Facebook and his 84 million followers on Twitter, but the video was removed social media platform including Facebook, Youtube, and Twitter.
Officials from Facebook told, “We’ve removed this video for sharing false information about cures and treatments for COVID-19.” Later, Twitter removed and flagged the video and said “violation” of its COVID-19 misinformation policy.
Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr Twitter account was temporarily suspended for spreading fake news.
Earlier, on April 28th Stella wrote on Twitter “Hydroxychloroquine works if given early. President Trump, we are with you. Many of us doctors know it and have used it. Don’t stop speaking up for us. @realDonaldTrump @MarkMeadows @TuckerCarlson @IngrahamAngle @DonaldJTrumpJr @POTUS @VP @GovMikeHuckabee @PastorBroden.”

Moreover, Immanuel has been a vocal supporter of hydroxychloroquine as a treatment for COVID-19 patients for months now and on May 21st, she wrote “I treat patients with covid19 and Hydroxychloroquine with zinc works. They get better in 24 hours. I have not lost a patient yet. My family and I take it for prevention. Many doctors and nurses take it.”

Dr. Stella Immanuel posted her support for Trump in the wake of Trump’s acquittal during the 2020 impeachment trial, she wrote Trump has been advocating the use of hydroxychloroquine as a treatment for coronavirus since April 2020. Later, she wrote, “For political reasons, licensed physicians will take to the media to scare the public from taking something that could potentially help them.”

On 28th July, Madonna shared the viral video of Dr. Stella Immanuel but her video was alleged by Instagram and was taken down, Madonna captioned the video, “The Truth will set us all Free! But some people don’t want to hear the truth. Especially the people in power who stand to make money from this long drawn out search for a vaccine Which has been proven and has been available for months. They would rather let fear control them and let the rich get richer and the poor and sick get sicker. This woman is my hero Thank you, Stella Immanuel.”

Even though Immanuel’s video has been removed from social sites many still reuploading the viode on the social media, Trump also championed Immanuel during his White House press briefing on Tuesday.
He said “I can tell you this, she was on-air along with many other doctors. They were big fans of hydroxychloroquine and I thought she was very impressive in the sense that from where she came, I don’t know which country she comes from, but she said that she’s had tremendous success with hundreds of different patients, and I thought her voice was important, but I know nothing about her.”

Dr. Stella Immanuel Career
She attended Cameroon Protestant College, a secondary school in Bali, Cameroon, and graduated from the Nigerian medical school at the University of Calabar in 1990 and moved to the United States in 1992.
Later, she completed a pediatric residency at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center, after graduation she began her career at the Paediatric Clinic in Louisiana. In December 1998, she began practicing at the Southern Pediatric Clinic in Alexandria, Louisiana.
Then, she joined the General Pediatric Care Clinic as a pediatrician in 1999, Stella also interned under Dr. Babatunde Dosu, a Dallas-based Nigerian pediatrician and holds medical licenses in Texas, Louisiana, and Kentucky.
Since October 2019, Immanuel has been a physician at the Rehoboth Medical Center in Houston.
Also, Stella also a pastor and the founder of Fire Power Ministries in Houston, and on her Facebook bio, she writes “Dr. Stella, has established a Christian resource center which supplies books, videos, CDs & other teaching materials to residents in her birthplace of Bali, Cameroon.” Immanuel is also credited with “crusades,” health fairs, raising money for orphanages, providing funding for small businesses, and being the host of a radio and television show, Fire Power. The bio opens with, “I shoot first and ask questions later” and ends with Immanuel’s favorite quotation, “Lord teach my hands to war and my fingers to fight.”
Stella’s medical claims are sometimes combined with her spiritual beliefs and said that many gynecological illnesses are the result of having sex dreams with succubi and incubi and receiving “demon sperm”.
In 2015, she said that “Illuminati” are using witches to destroy the world through abortion, gay marriage, and children’s toys and media (such as Harry Potter Pokémon, the shows “Wizards of Waverly Place” and “Hannah Montana”).
Immanuel has also written several books about faith in a series called “The Occupying Force Series,” which includes titles such as Keys to Effective Spiritual Warfare and I Trust God As My Commander in Chief.

She is the mother of Mima Fondong and Bernette, Mima is a graduate of Baylor University and the University of Westminster in London and Bernette, who began attending the University of Houston in 2017.
Mima received a $26,000 scholarship to study in London, where she studied global health and nutrition with a focus on disease prevention and treatment. During her school time, she was a contestant in the school’s Miss Green and Gold pageant.
Furthermore, she was also the president of the African Student Association.
